Established in 1846, we have a long history of being a church for our community. We are all about the Good News of Jesus and his teachings of love, acceptance and transformation. We are a diverse group where you will not find judgement but encouragement to seek God's love and grace.
When you visit you will see most folks dressed casually and others dressed in their "Sunday best". You will discover an informal worship service that includes a dynamic sermon, hymns, and contemporary praise music. We offer coffee & snacks after each service where you can meet and get to know what makes AUC so truly special - Our people!

When Jesus was asked which is the greatest commandment, he said: “‘... love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind... and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself." That pretty much sums up our philosophy! Part of that love is treating every attender as family. We work hard to care for one another without condition.
We believe social & spiritual development goes hand in hand. We have weekly and monthly opportunities to connect in smaller groups, as well as, yearly all church events - such as our Spring & Fall BBQ and Friendship Dinners!
